Welcome To The Auction!

The last few months have been extremely difficult for the Klug family.  Catherine Klug was diagnosed with Stage 3 Uterine Cancer in early summer.  She had surgery to remove the cancer but some had spread to her lymph nodes.  She is in the process of an aggressive treatment regimen at the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center in Cedar Rapids which involves daily radiation and frequent chemo.

We are hopeful that this treatment will remove all of the cancer from her body.

To complicate matters, her entire spine is fused in response to her scoliosis.  The fusion is quite painful and does impact her comfort during cancer treatment.

The multiple medical expenses (scoliosis treatment, cancer treatment) and expenses related to transportation, parking and meals during treatment are beyond what is covered by insurance.  Catherine lives on a very fixed income and appreciates your support of this fundraiser.
